Susan Manheimer siting penal code 6341 almost had President Chris locked up for trying to bribe, incite or otherwise coheres a public official. I don’t know how he got out of it and I don’t remember if Manheimer made the PC list. Moral a good defense is a better offence.

Walt McCullough presented our program Larry Stone, Santa Clara Assessor. Larry is no stranger to Rotary Club; he is a member of the Silicon Valley Club having just completed 22 years of perfect attendance.
Editor’s side note, I can’t remember having so much fun taking notes from a lunch speaker. In fact, it hasn’t been since Biochemistry in Dental School that I had so much fun. Everything Larry Stone said was important and worth writing down. Unfortunately, I was only able to retrieve about half of what was said and that which I did write down, I couldn’t read. YOU HAD TO BE THERE!
Silicon Valley is still a renter’s market. There is a difference between the generation and presently the Millennial Generation doesn’t necessary believe in owning a home as the prior generations did. With 18-hour work days, location is the most important; walk, ride bicycles or public transit are the ways to get to work. To them, home ownership is not a castle but a prison. Home ownership since 1967 has fallen 26%.
Corporations are also reducing the foot print for each employee by over 50%. No individual cubicles but rather open areas, collision floor plan, where idea interaction is better generated. Storage houses and warehouses are in demand where shipments can be received in one day. Retail stores are depressed. More shopping on line except for woman who still shop and see to buy.
Immigration can be a problem. We are not reproducing enough to fulfill the job requirements for the future. We need immigration to fill this gap.
