As we head into the holidays, the Rotary Club of San Mateo will celebrate with gusto at our annual holiday luncheon at Poplar Creek on Thursday, December 16th. Hope you'll be able to join in the merriment! Then, we'll be dark for the rest of December, resuming our regular Rotary lunch meetings on Thursday, January 6th. Have a joyous holiday season and here's to a great Rotary year in 2022!!!
PRESIDENT ROD'S LATEST VICTIM...OR WOULD THAT BE PRESIDENT'S CLUB MEMBER?
Mega-Congratulations to Mike Peterson who was recently honored by Serra High School for his 31 years as Serra's Principal and Development Director. Serra commemorated Mike's selfless service by naming the main office as the Michael Peterson Administrative Offices. President Rod shared this great news with the Club at last Thursday's meeting. Mike graciously responded by joining the President's Club! Next time you see Mike, be sure to give him a well-deserved shout-out!!!
As we resume our weekly meetings in January, our speakers for the month will focus on what may be on the horizon for the new year. The Program Committee has confirmed the following speakers to provide their best predictions for the year ahead:
