The 60-Minute television program recently did an exposé on the opioid epidemic, which Bob Binn has spoken about in a past meeting. Bob asked all of us to reach out to local and national politicians, and ask them to enact legislation to address the problem.

 

Juan Ragosa gave the Newscast, but not before receiving blessings from stand-in President Tony.

 

 

Frank Espina and wife Christina are doing okay. Oscar Lopez-Guerra is recovering well at home; a get-well card went around for Oscar.

 

 

 

Larry Patterson introduced one visiting Rotarian, Bill Lansky from San Francisco Airport club.

Alan Talansky made an announcement about the Fun Run that happened on October 22nd. Close to 300 people registered, and over $42 thousand were raised. Every participants receive a commemorative Fun Run t-shirt.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jody de Smidt talked about the Peninsula Symphony Concert at San Mateo High School on October 27^th. Those who have signed up for this fellowship event can pick up their tickets at high school’s Performing Arts Center.

 

The November 18th tailgate party may be cancelled if we don't get enough sign up.

Larry Patterson reminded all to attend the Youth & Government Day on October 26^th. There will be lots of students, lots of politicians, and good food so where else would you want to be.

 

 

 

 

Peter Webb and family have been blessed with another grandson; Robert James Johnston IV arrived on October 10th to Peter’s youngest daughter.
