President Dick provided a warm welcome to Narayanon Menon who visited the Rotary Club of San Mateo on July 28th from Kerela, India. President Dick and Narayanon continued the proud Rotary tradition of exchanging club banners. Kerala is located near the southern tip of India. If you're ever in India, be sure to visit Narayanon on his home turf!
Golden State Warriors Insider Monte Poole provided an intriguing look inside the Warriors organization in his July 28th presentation. Poole graciously had his picture taken with our very own Ross Moilan. Not quite sure what the height difference is, but both Monte & Ross look as though they're thoroughly enjoying the Poplar Creek ambience! Want to hear what Poole had to say? A quick reminder that Liz Mayta is hosting a Rotary potluck at her home on Wednesday, August 10, at 5:30 p.m. Liz's address is 1548 Hoover Drive in Burlingame. Usually we Dine Out, but this time we'll be Dining In! Liz will provide green chicken enchiladas for the main course.
