Thanks to all Jeff Lowenstein's hard work & many evenings of burning the midnight oil, the Scholarship Club has almost reached its $60,000 goal. With thanks to Don Leydig for an informative update at our April 25th meeting on the progress being made on our Club's Rotary International Micro Credit Grant in Guatemala.  The participants have increased the profits of their businesses and have learned helpful information on managing both business and personal finances. The Hillsdale/Middle College Effect has put together a great video capturing the tremendous work that's been accomplished.  Click on the link below to view the video.

District 5150 Rotarians (that includes us!) will gather on Saturday, May 13, between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm for the 2nd annual Rotary Day of Service. San Mateo County Rotarians will help with beach clean up and plant restoration work at Coyote Point.  Lunch will be provided and attendees will also have a chance to catch up on the latest in electric vehicles at the Electric Vehicle Expo.
