Foster City Club President James Cavagnaro, the legendary Jon Grant, and Foster City Club Executive Secretary Diana Schroeder joined San Mateo Rotarians on June 18th to present a gorgeous new Rotary Bell and Gavel to our club. President Jamie congratulated San Mateo Rotary on its Centennial and noted how helpful & supportive the San Mateo Club was in 1977 when the Rotary Club of Foster City was chartered.
President John graciously accepted the new Rotary Bell and Gavel, putting them to good use as he adjourned the meeting.
Next time you're at Poplar Creek, be sure to take a good look at the new bell and gavel. They're most impressive! Also be sure to thank any Foster City Rotarians when you see them for such a great memento to help power our club into our next century!
President Jamie presented President John with a gift wrapped in Rotary blue. Inside? A brand new Rotary Bell and Gavel.
President John welcomed Jane Butler to our Club as a new member. Jane noted this will be her 3rd Rotary Club! We're delighted she has joined us! If you don't know Jane, be sure to introduce yourself.
President John looks a bit wistful as he adjourns the meeting because next week's meeting will be his final one as Club President.
