Tom Huening with another tall tale?

Tom confessed to serving as a "target pilot" during his time in the military which means friendly forces got to fire at his jet, but with ammo that doesn't explode when it makes contact.

Tom shared on one occasion he dive-bombed a British ship that was using him as a target and went so fast he broke the sound barrier....not to mention the china in the British vessel's mess!

Wonder if there's another San Mateo Rotarian who's broken the sound barrier while piloting a jet? Want to learn more? Sit next to Tom at an upcoming Rotary meeting & pepper him with questions!

David crane of Govern for California

Speaker David Crane gave far-ranging remarks about his perspective on what we should be worried about regarding our state's governance. Crane highlighted three areas of particular concern:

California's public schools are failing their students
Tax dollars are not being used efficiently or effectively
California is no longer a state where people feel they can be upwardly mobile

Crane is good friends with former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and served as a key advisor to his administration.
