A tip of the Rotary Cap to Liz Mayta who hosted this month's Dine Out that actually was a Dine In at Liz's house in Burlingame.  Liz has a wonderful deck/patio that was perfect for al fresco dining on a beautiful August evening. Attendees brought potluck items to share & everyone consumed the offerings with great gusto.  Looks as though Liz & Dick were the Honorary Bartenders!

Santa Clara School of Law Professor David L. Sloss provided an in-depth look at the impact of Information Warfare on the democracies of the world as China & Russia practice social media manipulation and election interference. He compared Russia's approach to a hurricane and China's to Climate Change.  His solution?  Making it much harder for bad actors to infiltrate our social media through more stringent regulations.
